How long does activation take?

About 60 seconds. You receive the QR code by email immediately after purchase, scan it on your phone, and it installs in under a minute.

Can I activate before my trip?

Install before you travel, but most plans only start counting validity from the moment your phone connects to the destination network. Check each plan card for specifics.

What if my phone cannot scan the QR code?

Every eSIM also has a manual activation code. Open the email, copy the SM-DP+ address and the activation code, and enter them in your phone settings.

Can I install on multiple phones?

No. Each eSIM profile installs on one device. If you want to switch phones, contact support and we will re-issue.

Which phones support eSIM?

iPhone XS and newer, most Android flagships from 2020+ (Galaxy S20+, Pixel 6+, OnePlus 9 Pro+). Full list on our compatibility page.

Does my phone need to be unlocked?

Yes. Carrier-locked phones cannot install third-party eSIMs. Most US iPhones from 2022+ are unlocked by default.

Will my existing SIM still work?

Yes. Modern phones run dual SIM (physical + eSIM). Keep your home line for calls and SMS while using Flysimio for data.

Why is Flysimio cheaper than Airalo or Holafly?

Lower operational overhead and no massive ad-spend. We pass wholesale savings directly to customers. Same carriers, same coverage.

Is there a 7-day refund?

Yes. Full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. If you have already activated the eSIM, we refund the unused portion.

Do you charge in my local currency?

Prices display in USD by default. Your bank handles the FX conversion at the standard rate (no extra markup from us).

Can I top up mid-trip?

Yes. Top-ups are instant via the dashboard. Same eSIM, no re-installation needed.

Which countries are supported?

How fast is the data?

4G/LTE everywhere, 5G in major cities where our partner carriers have rolled it out. Typical download speeds: 50-150 Mbps.

Is there a fair-use cap on unlimited plans?

Yes. Daily-unlimited plans throttle to 1 Mbps after 5 GB per day. No hard cutoff.

Does it work on cruise ships or airplanes?

No. eSIM works only on terrestrial cellular networks. Cruise/satellite Wi-Fi is separate.

Do I need to create an account?

Account is optional. You can check out as a guest, but creating an account lets you see purchase history and request re-issues faster.

How do you handle my data?

We store only what is needed to fulfil and support your order. We never resell data. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. Every order generates a receipt. For VAT invoices, contact support with your VAT number.
